How we’ll use your data
Here at Simpol, your privacy matters to us. That’s why we will only use the personal information you provide to support the Simpol campaign. Specifically, that means listing you as a Simpol supporter in our internal database and, in order to gain support in parliament, sharing your data with your local constituency MP or political candidates. Knowing you support Simpol will encourage them to sign the Simpol Pledge.
How long we’ll keep it and your rights
Our campaign is reliant on momentum and support from the public, which is why we hope to keep you with us. However, we’ll only keep your information on file until you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to support Simpol.
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you may request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact John Bunzl directly to investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
